Aşir, a master wood carver, is one of the few remaining artisans preserving Turkey’s traditional wood carving. Born as the tenth child in a nature-filled region of Muş, his early memories deeply inspired his art. After moving to İzmir as a child, he learned carving with his brother and later combined nature, memory, and craftsmanship in his work. For over 40 years, he has shared his passion in a workshop that now welcomes people from all walks of life, turning dreams into handcrafted wooden art.
